Many companies are in trouble nowadays and not only the managers of those companies can not do anything about turning around the situation within those companies but also the banks financing those businesses are also in trouble.... The right expertise, the right team, the right business plan... if you have an angle to any industry don't you see the opportunity?

Not sure why managers in the companies they are working cannot do anything about improving their companies business. Yes times are bad. But some of the toughest asks can bring out the best results. Time for Innovations. The Tata Nano for example was a tough ask by a visionary, who wanted a $2000 car to be a reality. And then the design & engineering team worked towards achieving that goal. Leadership, Good teams & strategy needless to say play a big role.
On enterpreneurship opportunities I agree with you the same applies for newer ideas to take wings.
